What should I expect at my high school basketball tryouts?

I am entering the freshman class in fall and planning to play basketball. I never had time or money to play on a team so I dont really kno how a team setting is like. Tryouts are in the week of May 25 and I am worried, because I dont no wat they want to seeWhat should I expect at my high school basketball tryouts?
It depends on how big your school is...I went to a school with 3000 kids so there was a lot of competition for me...Especially the frosh team because if you make the frosh team %26amp; you play decently with the time you are given, you are guaranteed to make JV next year and then varsity...It also depends on the school, my school was a football school, so basketball was not as intense during the tryouts...Depending on the coach, he/she will probably start you with a warmup run %26amp; then sprints and basic drills the first day. After that expect team drills like the weave and one on one drills, usually modified games of 21. Then come the scrimmages. If you show effort, decent skill, and most importantly compliance with the coaches (be coachable, actually listen %26amp; do exactly what you are told), you should make the team, but if you don't it might be because your school is highly competitive at basketball...Don't worry about it too much or you will struggle...Good Luck
