I bought a magellan roadmate 300 last year (on sale discontinued model) but I'm looking to maybe get something else, IE a model they will continue updating maps for in years to come. I'm not picky about brand or features. Suggestions?Best Auto GPS For Price and Features?
Go to http://the-portable-gps.com they have comparison charts for Garmin, TomTom and Magellan including comparison charts for discontinued models of those brands. Garmin now offers life-time map updates for a one time fee of $120. TomTom updates quarterly for $39 per year. I'm not sure what Magellan charges. Hope this is some help.
