My Magellan GPS is stuck on a certain location?

We are currently moving from California to Texas. We stopped at a gas station to get snacks and such and turned the car off, but left our Magellan Roadmate 5054 on in the car. We got back in and started to get back on the freeway, but our Magellan was stuck on the same spot. We rest it twice but It still is stuck. We even cancled our destination and typed it back in. It is still stuck at the gas station. Does anyone know what we could do to fix this? Of course getting directions is not a problem, I obviously have internet.My Magellan GPS is stuck on a certain location?
Reset it if not try yahoo maps,.
