I have a Magellan Roadmate 1200. My maps are old so a ton of places and roads are not showing up. What are some cheap and easy solutions?How do I go about upgrading/updating my gps?

1. Register GPS unit, and create account using CC (you will be buying the maps).
2. Download and install sync app on your PC.
3. Sync GPS.
4. Buy maps.

Most GPS units offer a free, initial upgrade...provided on-line. Check your manual for the website or simply surf for the website for the manufacturer. This stuff is usually down-loadable into your unit.
