What is the best fair priced car GPS set you can recommend? Does it have any minus points?

I have a Magellan RoadMate 2000 GPS. The maps which came with the unit is outdated. $79 to download new map! I think there should be some GPS available with real easy to use and NOT very expensive to update. Please suggest your recommendations....What is the best fair priced car GPS set you can recommend? Look into Garmin, TomTom and Magellan units, their starter units normally would be around $149 to $199. If you want a great deal, wait till Black Friday this year and stand in line and hope you get one of those leader sales items.

I would look at Garmin Nuvi 205 or 255, TomTom ONE or 130-S and the Magellan Maestro 1200 or 1212 as some options.

Good Luck
