How i become a better basketball player?

I want to make my 7th grade basketball team next year. What are some things i can do to become better at basketballHow i become a better basketball player?
well you could jog to have more stamina, try to shoot as much as possible, ask other players if they want to shoot around with you,get your shot down(it's all about muscle memory)while your jogging bring a basketball to dribble while jogging to get dribbling down, try to imitate other pro players to know how to play the game the right way,try your hardest, never ever give up,play pick up games at a local park with players your age to see how u stack up against the competition.hope this helped you out a little!and do whatever else you can like having a friend and you pass back and forth and each 2 passes take another foot back.
Go to the gym every chance you haveand try to play games with whoever is there. If you are honestly serious do some stamina builders stregth trainers like line jumping and like performance training stuff look some that up online. Also you can easily practice dribbling with a family member like try to get pass them to test your skills and if they get the ball 10 push ups for you this keeps you disciplined and make u want to get past them because there is a consequence. Also use BEEF... Balance Elbows Eyes Follow-through. That's a good shooting technique. Search stuff online for good tips you can always get betterHow i become a better basketball player?
Practice every aspect:

Endurance - running

Dribbling - Practice while running as well as stationary drills

Passing - Practice crisp passes, as well as bounce passes against a wall

Shooting - Practice layups and jump shots all over the court. High repetitions

It would also help to get in as many pick-up games as possible. With hard work and dedication your skills will vastly improve.
