What do you think is the most important position in basketball?

in football a lot of time its the QB who is viewed as the most important position (even though defense wins championships)...what is probably the most important position in basketball on most teams to have on the offense?



I know the easy answer the easy answer is to say its a team sport and they all matter. i also know it depends on the team but in general, on offense what position do you think is the most important to have a skilled player at?What do you think is the most important position in basketball?
i think shooting gaurd and small forward they typically score the most points on nba teams and are the super stars like wade lebron durant kobe and carmelo
pg... this is the hardest position to play because you are like the coach on the floor... you run the team and the offense.. and you are also supposed to be the leader.. the pg in basketball is like the quarterback in football...some teams don't need a great pg because of how their offense is run like the lakers or the heat who have other players who can handle the ball...What do you think is the most important position in basketball?
Probably the PG. He's like the QB of a basketball team; he starts the plays, he's the leader and it's his job to get the offense flowing.
