Well we would use it as a fishing boat for the most part, with a little bit of tubing and skiing. We are kind of set on a Lund, because they seem like the nicest/highest quality fishing boat. We live in Minnesota so we can basically get any boat you could possibly want. We looked at Crestliner and Alumicraft, and they just didnt seem as high of quality, and had a much lower re-sale value then the lunds. We are looking to keep it under $17,000. Right now we are thinking of going with a 1700 Explorer SS w/115 mercury. Good boat?? Any other boat Suggestions?? Thanks.Whats a good fish/ski boat?
Bayliner is a good fairly inexpensive boat. But for better quality go with something like a Chapparal or Caravelle. I have had both and they are very good for the fish/ski combo you are looking for.Whats a good fish/ski boat?
check out the searay amberjack....very impressive, searay also has a higher resale value then most other boats, i don't know if you could find a used one in your price range though.
