There should be a plate on the back of the boat telling you the max HP allowed for that boat, and other things like max passengers,and max weight.Whats the maximum outboard hp that i can put on a 18ft aluminum lund fishing boat?
Look on the Horsepower rating tag located on the transom of the boat.
