What is wrong with the basketball section?

Seriously someone in this section didn't know who Drazen Petrovic was, has anyone in this section actually watched basketball prior to the 2000s? I now understand why some people think Kobe is behind Jordan as the greatest ever, because they've never seen any other players and are ignorant to basketball history.What is wrong with the basketball section?
so are you just trying to make us think that you know your basketball history by throwing out your knowledge of this whatever player that died in the early 90's? ya im 16, ya ive heard of him, ya i dont know why its relevant to know to claim your not ignorant to basketball. i take more pride in actually playing basketball than sitting and watching... thats probably more than you can say
You mean someone didn't know the foreign guard who never made an all-star game and died 18 years ago? Man, they could never know anything about basketball if they don't know who Petrovic was..

I think you could say Kobe is 2nd all-time. Personally, I don't think so, but Kobe was arguably the greatest player in the NBA's most talented era. He deserves a spot pretty high on the list.

Edit: How does Kobe not compare to the All-Time greats? He will probably pass MJ in just about every statistically category, he has 5 championships, a couple MVPs, a ton of All-Defensive teams. He isn't #1, but he is definitely up there.What is wrong with the basketball section?
I don't care if i don't know who Drazen Petrovic is, I'm only 15 and i was born in '96 how am i suppose to know some guy who died in '93? This guy didn't even do much in the NBA and I can't watch Euro Basketball even if i wanted to. And I don't have ESPN...What do you want me to do, search every basketball player ever? I'd rather actually play.

What's even more annoying is people who are ignorant to the basketball of the present or the future. They always say there is no chance of there being anyone better than MJ, when in all reality, that person may be alive right now. They could be playing in the NBA right now, and we don't know it.



We just have to sit back and watch what ever is supposed to happen unfold on it's own.What is wrong with the basketball section?
I know who he is and im only 15. But you cant expect people who werent born that long ago to know how good people were and who was who. Expecially when one of thrm was a foreign player who died so long ago. Just because they dont know of a player from before they were born doesnt meen they dont know basketball.
1.) I never have ESPN in my life
2.) Im 13 theres no way I could watched basketball late 2000
