How do you get yourself mentally ready for a basketball game?

I am a basketball player with great skill on the offensive and defensive side. I have an NBA shot which goes in nearly everytime, i am an excellent rebounder offensivly and defensivly, i am a fantastic dribbler so good that i am 6' tall and i am an SF and PG on my AAU team. I have been told by coaches and other players that i may have a chance at playing in the NBA but the problem is i sometimes i have off games and i want to fix this. Can you guys help me out?How do you get yourself mentally ready for a basketball game?
Whenever I have good games, i know it's because i belittle the other team. I keep in my mind that i'm better than them. but don't trash talk to them like that. Just keep in your mind that you are better than everybody else on the other team, but not ur own squad.
Yea, find a song or a saying that you listen to or say to yourself that gets you on track, make sure it fits your attitude, if you play focused, get a focused song, if you play loose make sure its a more up-beat and energetic song, i know every time before i shoot a free throw i say, " you could hate me now" from a jj redick highlight tape i watched, and it gets me focused, and also make sure your teammates are in the game because if there off task and not focused you wont be either a quality of an nba player is leadership. good luckHow do you get yourself mentally ready for a basketball game?
Yea samething me i always have to take dump b4 i play i get real nervous and it throws me off but if i keep a good song in my head like i sing a verse of wayne or cassidy or fab i get hype.
Break out in a musical. In all seriousness I think music would probably be the best way but aggression is not the only option. The Spartans of ancient Greece actually felt that remaining calm was the best way to enter battle. How do you get yourself mentally ready for a basketball game?
Everybody has off games. You just have to keep on working on your game to the point where you are like lebron where your off game could be someone's best game. Mentally just be prepared for your opponent. Hope you do well!
Well even nba players have off games...

To get up for my games i usually just dont think about them and treat them like practices. I just get all ready and bounce around to music.... then when the game comes i just turn it on
listen to pump up music such as:

Right round

Remember the name

and Stronger.

Also, take some alone time to think about what you need to accomplish.
listen to music and go into "power mode". dont think about anything except the game
Just exercise practive taking shots, listen to some music just relax
music
drink a few beers
