Is baseball beginning to become as predictable as basketball?

Its almost June and looking at the standings, the Pirates, Astros, Orioles, Diamondbacks and especially the Cubs are all out of playoff contention. Does anybody seriously think that these teams can actually make a run to the playoffs? Especially the Worst team in baseball the Chicago Cubs. Face it, its going to be the same 4 teams in the playoffs again in the American League and the Same usual teams in the national league. Just like basketball its always the Lakers, Celtics, Pistons or Spurs. At least in Football and Hockey you get some interesting and different teams in their championships. Is baseball beginning to become as predictable as basketball?
I don't know about that, but aren't you forgetting about the Chicago White Sox? These teams are usually the ones that are bad in the years. The Cubs could be back and worth. You never know, but in order for that to happen, the teams have to start winning. And this year, there are some pretty tough teams out there like the Tampa Bay Rays. It all depends how teams do. In basketball, the Lakers have to have about one of the best head coaches in the league. But you are forgetting that the Detriot Pistons sucked this year, and they didn't make the playoffs. And even teams that are favored to win games, they don't always win games through. Things can change yet, one of the teams that are winning could end up choking, and one of the teams losing now, could turn it around. Is baseball beginning to become as predictable as basketball?
Idk what your thinking. The NL East is as tight as a nun 20 years after her vowes.

The AL east isn't predictable. The Sox are in third the Yankees are in second and the Dark horse, Rays are in first with a 3 game lead.
