What do you think of churches who have video game systems and basketball goals?

I went to my friends church and they had video game systems inside one of the big rooms in the church and they had a basketball goal outside and a field where they said they played football or soccer. In fact they also had a gym where they had basketball goals inside too! My church doesn't have these things. What do you think of churches who have video game systems and basketball goals?
i am frowning....that is a waste of money....USE BOARD GAMES NOT VIDEO games..
Our church has this too in the youth lounge (I go to a really big church). It's great because every day they have "after school hangout" and the kids go up and play in a safe place. They can talk to the youth ministers if they want because they're all there. It just gives them a place to hang out. What do you think of churches who have video game systems and basketball goals?
Sounds like the green eyed monster(jealousy) is eating your heart out.

Do you think it is wrong for them to enjoy things that other kids enjoy?

Just because they go to church doesn't mean they have to be bored silly.

Maybe you ought to switch churches.
NOT MUCH...

Too much emphasis is put on recreation and NOT on what Jesus wanted us to do...that has not changed...

Matthew 28; 19,20

(1 Timothy 4:8) For bodily training is beneficial for a little; but godly devotion is beneficial for all things, as it holds promise of the life now and that which is to come. What do you think of churches who have video game systems and basketball goals?
Kids at your friend's church have a positive view of church because they associate it with fun, not boredom. The fun opens their ears and hearts to the message of the gospel. We cannot quarrel with that, can we?
