I gave up basketball for football,did I make a good choice on the matter?

So im good at basketball but even better in football. Throughout parts of my life i've always played basketball but now my desires lie in football. Which i aslo think is more fun and enjoying and in my opinion more of the team is involved in football. So for all you major football and basketball fans that think their sport is better than the other,tell me why. FOOTBALL OR BASKETBALL? WHICH DO YOU THINK IS BETTER/MORE FUN?I gave up basketball for football,did I make a good choice on the matter?
the choice is obvious for you, you love football more and your better at football so go with football or do both if possible
