What should I do about this high school basketball situation?

Basically I am one of the better players on my team, but the coach never lets me play. We've played 7 games and we're 3-4. I am getting so fustrated because I can't put my talents on display. Also the guys he's starting over me I've beaten countless times. I'm thinking about quitting, but I love basketball too much and I want to become a professional, but that's not gonna happen with me riding the bench. Help!What should I do about this high school basketball situation?
Hey I'm on a basketball team at gulf middle school and we have wonthe last 2years of champs and our couch used to say I put you in the game depending on how hard and determined you are during practice!! Hope that helps:)What should I do about this high school basketball situation?
start to be more vocal, be a leader, and most importantly out work all those guys, especially in sprints, etc. and I gaurantee you will get some more playing time. maybe your not showing your potential in practice. or maybe your attituted sucks or dont listen very well. coaches think these things are important. its not all about your raw tallent. have you missed practices? that may also be why you are riding the bench
