I lift weights every two days. And now I wanna play ball again. The only time that I can think of that I can shoot hoops are those days between my workout. But I let my muscles heal - meaning I have a sore body. I wanna know when should I weight train and play basketball.How should I schdule my weight training and basketball?
Most Basketball players do a 3day schedule.Lift weights on Monday,Wed and Friday.Play BB on remaining days-Tue,Thu and Saturday in a Week.Take Sundays Off.I used to follow this routine,and i think will give you the best results.Sometimes i did weight training in morning,and basketball in evening and trust me,there wont be any problems if you take in the required calories daily.(You could switch to this schedule after about 1 month of Earlier said schedule.Just remember to keep yourself motivated,and eat healthy food.All the Best
