First find out what your grades are, register with the NCAA clearing house. Take the SAT or the ACT have results sent to clearing house along with GPA. Now once you graduate from high school, your GPA is set and you can only go prep to improve on your SAT or ACT scores and you can take the test as much as possible. If you enroll in a prep school before you graduate like say after your senior season, you may have a chnace to improve your GPA by staying the next year there. but the NCAA has set a limit on how many classes you can use in the 5th year for elgibility thats why the clearing house is important. GPA and Test scores are on a sliding scale, find out where you are on that scale ask your coaches and guidance counselors for help. What are the rules of going 2 a prep school post high school to play basketball, before attending college?
yes after high school you can go to a prep school but the every year you spend in prep school is one less year of eligibility you get when you go to college, most people do it that exact reason. they feel that they need one more year to develop their skills before they go to compete against top of the line college athletes at they want to get better to see if they can get some better recruiting attentionWhat are the rules of going 2 a prep school post high school to play basketball, before attending college?
Once you've graduated from high school, you're done. Best bet would be to go to a JC, play there and transfer.
